Independent School Compliance with Federal Laws after Taking Federal Loans

Holland & Knight presented a webinar in which our attorneys provided updates on the U.S. Small Business Association's loan program established in response to the COVID-19 crisis, as well as offered practical tips for complying with the federal civil rights laws that become applicable after a school receives such aid. 

While the availability of these funds established under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) is generally a positive development for independent schools, such federal aid comes with some potentially significant requirements.
