The Extranet

The Holland & Knight Extranet site provides private and secure case management, collaboration and communication for our clients and attorneys. Through the site, users can store and manage documents, contacts and calendar events, and access powerful collaboration tools, such as web video conferencing and electronic discussion forums.

Webinars

As a client, you have free online access to Holland & Knight CLE-certified courses and other training programs and information seminars. Our on-demand training programs are accessible at any time from your computer.

E-Billing

We use the services of multiple software vendors to meet the matter management and electronic billing needs of our clients. This makes it easy for clients to compare case and project budgets, audit billing records, and pay invoices electronically. We find that many of our best relationships are with clients whose accounting offices work closely with our billing department to set up e-billing formats that meet their criteria. We have the flexibility to provide clients with billing information in formats that vary from matter to matter.

Research Databases

Our Federal Communications Commission (FCC) database manages and tracks all data in all filings for our clients' licenses, permits and authorizations, and includes a sophisticated calendaring and reminder system for critical due dates. We also record and manage all of our clients' FCC licensed assets. We have the ability to track the FCC activities of a competitor or potential acquisition target at the request of a client.

Our Intellectual Property database contains all registered trademarks held by our clients, as well as all pending trademark applications. Additionally, we record all patents held by our clients and maintain their renewal documents to avoid patent expiration. There are over 30,000 records in the IP database. Many clients have turned over their entire trademark application and management process to us.
