Todd D. Steenson's practice encompasses all facets of labor and employment law, including both litigation and counseling.
In his nearly 15 years of practice, Mr. Steenson has represented management in all types of labor and employment litigation, including claims in federal and state trial and appellate courts, before the EEOC, the Department of Labor, and comparable state agencies, before the National Labor Relations Board, and in arbitration and other alternative forums. He also has substantial experience in labor and employment counseling. He has advised employers concerning their obligations under the National Labor Relations Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, all federal anti discrimination statutes and Illinois state law. He frequently assists employers in drafting employee handbooks and employment policies and in handling disciplinary matters, including sexual harassment investigations.
