Christopher DeLacy is the leader of the Political Law Group. He has extensive legislative experience and advises clients on political and lobbying compliance issues related to the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995, Congressional gift and travel rules, and related state and local laws. Mr. DeLacy has represented clients before the Federal Election Commission, the Office of Congressional Ethics, the D.C. Office of Campaign Finance, the Texas Ethics Commission, and the Maryland State Ethics Commission. He has also assisted with Inspector General investigations, prepared clients to testify before Congress, and advised clients on post-employment restrictions. His clients include corporations, trade associations, non-profit organizations, ballot question committees, and officeholders. He serves as general counsel to the Holland & Knight Committee for Effective Government PAC.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. DeLacy served as counsel to Senator John Warner of Virginia. In that capacity, Mr. DeLacy served as Senator Warner's Rules Committee counsel during consideration of the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 ("McCain-Feingold").

Before working for Senator Warner, Mr. DeLacy served as counsel on the Technology Subcommittee of the House Science Committee and worked as a legal advisor in the Virginia General Assembly.
