Kelly DeGance concentrates her practice in the area of labor and employment law. Ms. DeGance's experience includes litigating age, race, sex, national origin, pregnancy, disability, and religious discrimination claims and defending employers in proceedings at the local, state, and federal levels; representing management in litigation arising out of employment agreements and covenants not to compete; defending minimum wage and overtime claims brought pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Act; and representing employers in connection with union issues and labor arbitrations. Ms. DeGance also has experience representing educational institutions in employment matters and issues involving faculty and students.
Prior to entering private practice, Ms. DeGance served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Howard T. Snyder, United States Magistrate Judge. Before attending law school, Ms. DeGance worked as a mental health counselor.
