Maximillian J. Bodoin is an associate in the intellectual property group focusing on intellectual property licensing, litigation, electronic commerce and information technology. He is the intellectual property representative for the firmwide Associate Liaison Committee.
Mr. Bodoin advises clients on a variety of intellectual property and information technology matters including software development and implementation, information technology practices and procedures, online social networking, online data protection, security breach responses, electronic contracting, and the arts. His litigation and licensing work involves rights under patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, and the right of publicity, in a variety of industries including software, emerging technology, online retails, entertainment, travel and education.
Mr. Bodoin volunteers for the Medical-Legal Partnership for Children, through which he provides free legal services to individuals in low-income and other under-serviced communities. He also recently completed LeadBoston, a program run by the Boston Center for Community and Justice that focuses on social justice in the Boston region, exploring areas such as social policy and the dynamics of prejudice, power, and inclusion.
