Statewide Need is Great for Pro Bono Legal Work on Border Crisis
Lawyers in Texas are becoming more involved with pro bono projects to help migrant children arriving from the border crisis. However, Attorney Aubrey Meyers says the need for these lawyers is going to increase as the number of children coming in is expected to be much higher that projected. She says when one group of children leaves, "there will be another coming in to fill those beds."
Partner Eric Pfeifle agreed, saying "we're going to need as many lawyers around town as possible."
