ZR16: What You Need to Know About the New DC Zoning Regulations
Holland & Knight Program
Suite 1100
Washington, DC 20006
During this special morning seminar, you will learn about the new DC Zoning Regulations that were recently adopted by the Zoning Commission of the District of Columbia and are set to go in effect on September 6, 2016. Our presenters will provide an overview of how the new regulations are organized, including a description of the new zoning map designations and how to go about understanding what provisions apply to your project. In addition, the presentation will provide information on how the new regulations will be implemented and under what circumstances a project will be vested under the current zoning regulations.
The program will also highlight some of the most notable changes, such as the rules of measurement, parking and loading requirements, building connections, Transferable Development Rights, Combined Lot Developments and Density Credits, and updates to the Planned Unit Development (PUD) process and standards. A question-and-answer session will follow this highly informative program.
