Witness Centered Interview Techniques for Workplace Investigations

Social and political events such as the #MeToo movement and the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing have heightened the need for high-quality investigations of stressful events, even events that happened many years ago. This presentation will provide an introduction to the history and fundamentals of witness centered interviewing, and explore the ways in which witness centered interviewing supports a more thorough and effective investigation in any context, including the investigation of serious employee complaints and white collar matters.
