IRS Audits of Private Equity and Investment Funds

Tax attorneys Brandon Bloom and Lee Meyercord will participate in the University of Texas School of Law Office of Continuing Legal Education's event titled "LLCS, LPS and Partnerships." Mr. Bloom and Ms. Meyercord will talk about the audit rules introduced under the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015. They will discuss the current partnership audit rules, with a particular focus on their impact on private equity and other investment funds. The presentation will also analyze expectations for partnership audits to increase as a result of these rules and the Internal Revenue Service's (IRS) increased focus on partnership audits and more funding.
