At this year's NYU Tax Conferences in July in New York, Tax attorney William Sherman will serve as chair of the International Taxation Program. Mr. Sherman will speak in two conferences: "Introduction to International Taxation" and "Advanced International Taxation." He will participate in panels discussing the taxation of controlled foreign corporations and case studies involving outbound and inbound investments.
The institute provides tax practitioners with updates and practical advice on the latest trends and developments from leading experts. The program covers major areas of international tax, including tax compliance, direct and indirect foreign tax credit, outbound transfers, international mergers and acquisitions, advanced foreign tax credits and inbound debt investing.
