Metaverse: A Comprehensive Analysis from Economic Law

Intellectual Property attorney Danilo Romero will participate in a virtual discussion organized by the Department of Economic Law at the Universidad Externado de Colombia in which he will examine the legal challenges associated with the metaverse. The metaverse, understood as a world driven by virtual reality, presents challenges and difficulties for the traditional institutions of civil law, procedural law and intellectual property. During this forum, speakers will analyze the concept of the metaverse, role of the State in the metaverse, function of crypto assets and blockchain, and legal difficulties that the existence of the metaverse represents.
