The Corporate Transparency Act Is Coming. Are You Ready?

Tax attorney Alan Granwell will moderate a panel discussing the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), which will take effect on Jan. 1, 2024. The legislation instructs certain entities to report identifying information and disclose who directly or indirectly controls the entity. Entities that form after it takes effect must also share information about who created and filed the entities' documentation. The panel will examine how to comply with these new requirements and how common law trusts relate to the legislation's beneficial ownership information requirements.
