Clean Energy Credits and Incentives in the Inflation Reduction Act: Updates and Recent Guidance

Tax attorneys Amish Shah and Daniel Strickland are joining a panel titled "Clean Energy Credits and Incentives in the Inflation Reduction Act: Updates and Recent Guidance" at the American Bar Association's (ABA) 2023 Fall Tax Meeting. Mr. Shah will moderate the panel and Mr. Strickland will participate as a speaker. This session will provide overviews and updates regarding the expansive clean energy credits and incentives in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022. The group will discuss recent and expected guidance issued by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and U.S. Department of the Treasury, including proposed regulations related to prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements, final regulations related to the 48(e) low-income community bonus credit and other recent guidance issued or on the horizon. They will also cover new developments related to investment tax credits (ITCs) for and production tax credits (PTCs) for solar, wind, storage, clean hydrogen, carbon capture, clean energy manufacturing, among other incentives.
