Data strategy and business attorney Glynna Christian and legal ethics attorney Trisha Rich will participate in Practising Law Institute's (PLI) Artificial Intelligence Law 2024 program in New York. The two-day forum will explore a variety of legal issues surrounding the development and use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, such as the administration of AI policies and intersection of AI and trade secrets. Ms. Christian is serving as one of the event's chairs; she will give opening remarks as well as lead panels covering the transformative role of generative AI in daily legal practice and reevaluating standard contractual provisions to account for AI. Ms. Rich will moderate a discussion examining ethics issues surrounding AI use and analyzing the application of rules regarding competent representation and confidentiality.
