Please join Holland & Knight's Corporate Transparency Act Team for a discussion of recent judicial, administrative and legislative developments related to the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA).

In the courts, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) filed briefs in two CTA court cases supporting the constitutionality of the CTA, three amicus briefs were filed in support of the constitutionality of the CTA, and a federal District court judge denied a motion for a Preliminary Injunction related to the CTA.

The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) issued 17 new FAQs.

On the legislative front, two bills have been introduced: the Small Business Red Tape Relief Act of 2024 and the Repealing Big Brother Overreach Act (which would repeal the CTA).

Our panelists — Alan Granwell, Michael Titens, John Bunge, Eddie Jauregui and Briahnna Skinner — will discuss these developments, and sufficient time will be allotted for questions from attendees.

Important information continues to be released on the CTA, so please join us to stay up to date with the latest developments.
