Environmental attorney Jason Hill will be presenting on a webinar hosted by The Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law (FNREL). This session will explore dramatic shifts in the implementation of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) following President Trump's Executive Order 14154. Mr. Hill, along with other practitioners, will discuss the Council on Environmental Quality's (CEQ) subsequent actions to comply with the EO, including an interim final rule revoking its NEPA regulations and a memo directing federal agencies to update their own NEPA procedures. He will also cover how permitting processes will be affected by these changes, along with the potential for varying federal agency processes. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the legal and policy implications, expectations for project proponents and foreseeable litigation arising from these unprecedented developments.
