Housing 2021: Regional Housing Production Mandates, Constraints and Vehicle Miles Traveled

Holland & Knight's West Coast Land Use and Environment Group and Real Estate Practice are hosting a series of webinars to discuss recent legislative and administrative updates affecting the real estate industry. In this session, attorneys Jennifer Hernandez, Ryan Leaderman, Letitia Moore and Paloma Perez-McEvoy offered practical suggestions for streamlining project approvals (including projects requiring general plan amendments and rezoning) under the new Sixth Cycle Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA). Topics discussed included upzoning properties to accommodate residential and mixed-use projects and new constraints resulting from SB 375 and the expansion of CEQA.
