Former Top Agency Official Advises Federal Contractors to Get Ahead of Vaccine Mandate

Government Contracts Partner Eric Crusius spoke with Government Matters about the new COVID-19 vaccine requirement for federal employees and contractors. Employees have until Nov. 22, 2021, to get fully vaccinated, and further guidance for employers is expected to be released on Sept. 24. Mr. Crusius advised contractors to begin establishing compliance systems for legally tracking employees' vaccination statuses. He also explained some of the challenges that contractors may face regarding the mandate and outlined some of the questions that remain.
