One Solution to the Border Crisis

Immigration attorney Leon Fresco joined a Bloomberg Law Podcast episode to discuss possible solutions for the anticipated influx of migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border once Title 42 ends. Title 42 is a law that allows the government to prevent individuals from crossing the border for public health reasons such as the pandemic. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) plans to lift Title 42 in May, and several lawmakers have raised concerns about the increase in border crossings as a result. Mr. Fresco talked about ways to alleviate these concerns and ensure organized crossing and processing procedures, proposing both administrative and legislative solutions.
