From Stonewall to Windsor: New York’s March to LGBTQ Rights
Attorney Christopher Riano spoke at a New York City Bar Association event about the history of LGBTQ rights in the state. Panelists covered significant New York Court of Appeals cases, such as Braschi, Onofre and Hernandez, and analyzed their impacts on the LGBTQ community. During his introductory presentation, Mr. Riano discussed the history of the LGBTQ movement and celebrated the current support the community is receiving in the state. During the panel discussion, Mr. Riano spoke about what issues should be addressed regarding LGBTQ rights.
