Government Contracts attorney Eric Crusius spoke on a Federal News Network podcast about the U.S. Department of Defense's Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program. While the CMMC is not operational, it has produced new scoping documents. Mr. Crusius breaks down what exactly they are and why they are so important. He also noted that even though the documents are drafts, it is still important to review them because they provide insight into how assessments will work and what controls will be utilized at each of the three different levels of certification.
