New Causes of Expiration... What the Government Wants to "Add" to the Mining Sector

Mining attorney Estefanny Pardo presented a new radio program in partnership with La Voz Minera EMG titled “Minería al Día con Estefanny Pardo.” In this episode, Ms. Pardo discusses a chapter in the mining bill that is being debated within Congress in Colombia. She highlights the removal of certain expiration causes and the inclusion of others, such as noncompliance with the social management plan and the mine closure plan. Additionally, she stresses the need to understand the government's stance on the mining sector, as even if the bill is not passed, regulations and norms may be issued on the matter.
