The 2012 Amendments to the APA: The Legislature Responds to Whiley–and More

During the 2012 Regular Session, the Florida Legislature enacted several measures amending the Florida Administrative Procedure Act (APA). Among other things, these include a legislative response to the Florida Supreme Court’s decision in Whiley v. Scott; provision for the nullification, repeal and summary removal of rules; and making the online versions of the Florida Administrative Code and the Florida Administrative Register the official versions. Here’s a brief summary of some of the bills that passed.
