Texas Supreme Court Proposes Streamlining Procedures for Smaller Cases

Responding to a mandate from the Texas Legislature, the Texas Supreme Court has issued proposed rules for the expedited handling of cases involving claims of $100,000 or less. The Court hopes that these significant changes will result in more prompt, efficient, and cost-effective resolution of smaller cases.
