Clean Tech Funding Primer
A Guide for Early-Stage and Pre-Commercial Companies Developing Renewable Energy or Other Innovative "Clean" Technologies
Holland & Knight's Government Energy Finance Team invites you to read our Clean Tech Funding Primer, in which we discuss federal government support for clean energy and related innovative technologies.
Congressional support for clean tech research and development remains strong, as evidenced by level or increasing budgets for most of the relevant programs at federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Energy and Department of Defense. Despite the Trump Administration's deregulatory agenda and earlier efforts to slow the pace of disbursing funds for grant recipients and other awardees, grant money at most agencies is now flowing at a rate in line with historical norms. Billions of dollars are available through grants, cooperative agreements, procurements and other transactions.
