Colombia Chapter
Holland & Knight Partner José Zapata and Associate Daniel Fajardo Villada co-authored the Colombia Chapter in the eighth edition of The Energy Regulation and Markets Review.
In this chapter, the authors discuss how the energy sector in Colombia has been one of the main pillars of development and growth of the country's economy while contributing significantly to the national budget. Key areas covered in the chapter include regulation, transmission/transportation and distribution services, energy markets, renewable energy and conservation, as well as the main objectives and challenges faced by the Colombian electricity sector.
