Lobbyists Prepare for Tax Battles

Lobbyists are gearing up to defend tax breaks now possibly at risk under the new proposed tax plan.

“This has been created in a test tube,” said Senior Policy Advisor Tom Reynolds. “What is the reaction among members of Congress, what is the reaction in their districts and, quite frankly, from K Street? … We’re not quite to the point where we’re going to see what those reactions are, because this is still a framework proposal,” Mr. Reynolds said.
