SF Residents Vow to Keep Fighting Navigation Center as Supes Weigh its Fate
Environmental attorney Jennifer Hernandez commented on San Francisco's push to increase the number of homeless shelters and navigation centers in the San Francisco Chronicle. Ms. Hernandez notes that the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) is often the tool of choice to fight homeless housing.
"Using CEQA for non-environmental purposes is an abuse of this environmental law, and this is another example of it," Ms. Hernandez said.
