Some Law Firms in the Country Lowered Their Lawyers' Salaries by up to 25%

Bogotá Executive Partner Enrique Gómez-Pinzón was interviewed for an article published in Asuntos Legales in which he gives his opinion on the decision of many law firms to reduce the salaries of their lawyers as a result of the impact of COVID-19. Mr. Gómez-Pinzón explained that in the face of the rapid changes in all sectors of the economy, these decisions are necessary to be able to sustain the normal functioning of activities.
"In the face of so much uncertainty and with changes in the situation on a daily basis, we reacted to maintain the business and continue providing services in a timely manner," he indicated.
