Bombing Not Labeled Terrorism, Good News for Victims

According to Mark Bell, the FBI's decision not to label the Christmas Day bombing in Nashville could be good news for property owners, given that many insurance policies do not cover damages due to acts of terrorism. While the insurance question had no impact on the FBI's decision, it could nevertheless be good news for victims.

Mark stated in this article, damage from acts of terrorism is “a rare situation that most people don’t think about when they’re buying insurance or looking at insurance coverage.” Mark also said that many policies have specific exclusions for terrorism.
