Holland & Knight, in Verified Class Action Lawsuit Against ROFX.net, Aims to Recover Over $50M
Litigation attorney Warren Gluck spoke with the Daily Business Review about filing a class action lawsuit in a federal court in Miami against robotic foreign exchange trading company, ROFX.net, in which he is seeking over $50 million in lost investments. The consumers he represents are part of a larger trend in which non-high net worth or non-institutional investors made significant investments in highly niche areas.
Mr. Gluck, who was assisted by Partner Jose Angel Casal in Miami and Associate Ruarri Rogan in New York, added that the people who made these investments traditionally had an advisor put their money in a 401(k) instead of allocating their money to a company like ROFX.
"This entire thing was established from the get-go to create a situation where one could run from the exits with all this money,” Mr. Gluck said. "It's important for attorneys that see this, that there are mechanisms to achieve justice and to get people their money back."
