P.S. — World Refugee Day, Hispanic Law Student Scholarships, Fundraising Successes

Attorney Adrienne Dominguez, who serves as president of the Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation (DHLF), was quoted in The Texas Lawbook in its article discussing the annual DHLF Amanecer luncheon. Ms. Dominguez spoke at the luncheon about the racial disparities within the Texas legal industry and the importance of increasing access to law school for Hispanic students. She noted that while the number of Hispanic lawyers in Texas has seen marginal improvement over the years, there is still progress to be made.
"A 2 percent gain is not quite the progress we're looking for," she said.
