Exclusive: Montana Banned TikTok. Could Florida Be Next?

Intellectual Property attorney Daniel Barsky was quoted in a South Florida Business Journal article discussing Montana's statewide ban on the popular video sharing app TikTok that its legislature approved in April. Montana became the first state in the country to prohibit TikTok on all personal devices operating within the state. Mr. Barsky commented that it's still unclear how Montana will be able to enforce the law when the rule takes effect in 2024.
"The technology already exists and is in use," he said. "The bigger question is the legal hurdles."
