Extension of Waterfront PUD Supported

Real Estate attorney Christine Shiker was quoted in an article on Hillrag.com discussing Brookfield Development's June 12 request to the Zoning Commission for a two-year extension of the Waterfront Planned Unit Development (Waterfront PUD) in Washington, D.C. While most of the Waterfront PUD is fully developed, two areas of the PUD remain underdeveloped.
Ms. Shiker explains what is halting development and provides justification for the development extension, stating “Brookfield has not been able to secure funding to allow the project to move forward,” and assuring that, “The extension does not call for any changes to PUD.”
