International and Cross-Border Transactions attorney Robert Friedman and Public Policy & Regulation attorney Paul Stimers were mentioned in an Inside Quantum Technology News article analyzing a new rule restricting U.S. investments in Chinese technology companies. While the rule seems vast, the attorneys explained it is actually quite restricted in scope. However, U.S. investors will have more responsibility to ensure they are in compliance. Mr. Friedman and Mr. Stimers noted that they have not heard any concerns from U.S. investors over the rule, which is set to take effect in January.
