Securities Enforcement Defense Team Chair Jessica Magee was quoted extensively in a Texas Lawbook article recapping a seminar on developments at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in which she participated. The program featured Ms. Magee, Vinson & Elkins Partner Rebecca Fike and Eric Werner, director of the SEC's Fort Worth Regional Office, who reflected on topics including the effects of staffing updates at the agency, artificial intelligence (AI) and crypto regulation and enforcement activity, and cooperation with federal authorities.
