International Trade attorney Andrew McAllister was quoted in an article published by Yahoo Finance about the impact of President Donald Trump's new tariffs on Chinese goods, which shut down the de minimis exemption that has benefited Chinese discount retailers like Shein and Temu. This move marks the end of duty-free shipping for packages under $800, influencing the landscape for online shoppers and adding significant costs to Chinese imports.
