Glenn Adams Elected to The Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission Board of Directors
Orlando, Fla. – December 14, 2012 – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Glenn Adams, a partner in the firm's Orlando office, has been elected to the board of directors of The Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission (EDC).
The EDC is a not-for-profit, private/public partnership serving Orange, Seminole, Lake and Osceola counties and the City of Orlando in Florida. Since its start in 1977, the EDC, with the support of its community partners, has assisted thousands of companies to relocate, expand and grow in the four-county region.
Mr. Adams practices in the areas of corporate and tax law. He advises clients on a variety of business entity issues during the life cycle of the business and has substantial experience advising clients on the formation of corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and other joint venture arrangements. He is recognized as a top attorney in his field by The Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, and holds the highest rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
In the community, Mr. Adams currently serves as president-elect of the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA). He is a former member of the OCBA's Executive Council, former president of its Young Lawyers Section, and was the recipient of the 2010-2011 Outstanding Board Member Award for the Legal Aid Society.
