Public Finance Attorneys Woodrow Vaughan and Allison Dyer Join Holland & Knight in Atlanta
ATLANTA (February 18, 2014) – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Woodrow "Woody" Vaughan, III has joined the firm's Atlanta office as a partner and Allison Dyer has joined as senior counsel. Mr. Vaughan was previously a partner and Ms. Dyer was a senior associate with King & Spalding LLP.

Mr. Vaughan will join Holland & Knight's national Public Finance Team and lead its Georgia Public Finance Initiative. He has extensive knowledge in tax-exempt finance for state and local governments, multifamily housing facilities, stadiums, and governmental and non-profit healthcare, educational and other facilities. He routinely serves as bond counsel, counsel to underwriters, credit enhancers, bond purchasers and borrowers counsel on complex public finance transactions. Since 2007, Mr. Vaughan has represented clients in more than 185 public finance transactions totaling over $10.5 billion in aggregate principal amount of bonds.
In addition, Mr. Vaughan has worked on some of the largest economic development incentive transactions ever completed in the state of Georgia. As a trusted advisor, he helps corporate clients looking to relocate to or expand in Georgia as well as local governments developing incentive packages for prospective private industry clients.

Ms. Dyer's practice focuses on all areas of tax-exempt finance for various industries including healthcare, charter schools, higher education, multi-family housing, utilities, public schools, local governments, stadiums, airports, docks and wharfs, and non-profit entities. She has represented clients of varying sizes in both publicly and privately-offered tax-exempt and taxable financings, having routinely served as bond, underwriter's, borrower's, issuer's and credit-provider's counsel. Ms Dyer also has extensive experience in the area of economic development incentives.
