Five Holland & Knight Attorneys Named “Best of the Best” in Aviation

MIAMI (November 3, 2014) –  Five of the top 30 aviation lawyers in the United States are Holland & Knight partners, according to the newly released “Best of the Best USA 2014,” a guide to the leading practitioners in the country across 20 areas of the law. The guide is published by Legal Media Group, part of Euromoney Institutional Investor, one of the world’s preeminent financial publishers. 

The Holland & Knight attorneys included in this elite group of aviation lawyers are Fred Bass, Richard Crowley, Phillip Durham, William Piels and John Pritchard. All are members of the firm’s Aircraft and Equipment Finance practice, which has earned an international reputation for transactional work involving the domestic and cross-border acquisition, financing and leasing of aircraft, engines and spare parts on behalf of the world’s leading airlines, financial institutions, leasing companies and manufacturers.

Attorneys are selected for inclusion in “Best of the Best USA” based on the responses to a questionnaire sent to more than 4,000 senior practitioners and in-house counsel involved in each practice area, who are asked to nominate candidates based on their work and reputation. The results are analyzed and screened for firm, network and alliance biases, then reviewed by advisers in legal centers worldwide in order to determine the final list.
