Holland & Knight Partners Named Top Lobbyists of 2015 by The Hill

WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 30, 2015) – Holland & Knight Partners Rich Gold, Kathryn Lehman and Gerry Sikorski have been named Top Lobbyists of 2015 in the "Hired Guns" category by The Hill, an influential political newspaper and news website.

According to The Hill, the individuals selected as Top Lobbyists have set themselves apart when it comes to shaping federal policy and "lead groups that simply cannot be ignored."

Mr. Gold, the head of Holland & Knight's Public Policy & Regulation Group; Ms. Lehman, a partner in the Public Policy & Regulation Group; and Mr. Sikorski, the leader of Holland & Knight's Government Section, were singled out for their successful push for legislation that streamlines the approval process for new, more effective sunscreen ingredients.

The team’s advocacy on behalf of the Public Access to SunScreens (PASS) Coalition resulted in the Sunscreen Innovation Act, signed into law by President Barack Obama, after unanimously passing both the House and Senate. In Dec. 2014, The Hill called their effort one of the "Top 10 lobbying victories of the year."

Mr. Gold, Ms. Lehman and Mr. Sikorski, who are all based in Holland & Knight’s Washington, D.C. office, have been recognized by The Hill as Top Lobbyists consistently for the past 5 years.
