Holland & Knight Donates $100K to OneOrlando Fund

ORLANDO, Fla. (July 19, 2016) – Holland & Knight announced today that it will donate $102,000 through the Holland & Knight Charitable Foundation to the OneOrlando Fund. The donation was presented to Buddy Dyer, the mayor of Orlando, on July 19.
In addition to making financial contributions, members of Holland & Knight have provided other types of support. As president of the Orange County Bar Association, Holland & Knight Partner Wiley Boston, together with the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar, launched a legal counsel hotline to provide free legal services for victims and their families.
Holland & Knight employees have also volunteered at the Family Assistance Center that was established by the City of Orlando, participated in the #KeepDancingOrlando movement and donated food, water and general supplies to the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida.

The Holland & Knight Charitable Foundation: The Holland & Knight Charitable Foundation, Inc. was created in 1996 to support the increasing charitable activities of the employees of Holland & Knight LLP. The foundation, which is a public 501(c)(3) charity led by a board of directors, supports various nonprofit entities and underwrites several important educational programs. Financial support for the Foundation comes from the law firm of Holland & Knight, its employees and clients, and other organizations and individuals.
