Holland & Knight Advises Banco Multiva on $35.8 Million Loan to Mexican State of Chihuahua

MEXICO CITY (December 10, 2019) – Holland & Knight Partner Alejandro Landa Thierry and Associate José Luis Villareal recently advised Banco Multiva on a MXN$700 million (US$35.8 million) loan to the Mexican state of Chihuahua. The transaction closed on November 25.

The loan was granted pursuant to Mexico's law on financial discipline for federal entities and municipalities (Ley de Disciplina Financiera de las Entidades Federativas y los Municipios).

Banco Multiva was selected as lender to the state of Chihuahua through a competitive bidding process.
