Holland & Knight Advises Banco Multiva on $61 Million Dual Loan to Mexican State of Sonora

MEXICO CITY (June 11, 2020) – Holland & Knight Partner Alejandro Landa Thierry and Associate Rosa María Cuevas advised Banco Multiva on two loans to the Mexican State of Sonora through the Ministry of Finance of an aggregate amount of MXN$1.3 billion (approximately US$61 million). The transactions closed on June 5.

Banco Multiva was selected as the lender to the State of Sonora through a competitive bidding process.

The loans will be used to finance public investments such as roads and bridges; infrastructure for security and law enforcement; infrastructure for health projects; rehabilitation, modernization and expansion of hydraulic network projects; and other projects and public spaces in the State of Sonora.
