Nellie Shipley Sullivan Joins Holland & Knight's Real Estate Team in Atlanta
ATLANTA (July 19, 2022) – Prominent real estate lawyer Nellie Shipley Sullivan has joined Holland & Knight's Atlanta office as a partner in the firm's Real Estate Section, one of the largest in the country. She handles a broad variety of transactions involving commercial real estate and helps clients that are relocating or expanding participate in economic development programs. Ms. Sullivan, who is admitted to practice law in Georgia and North Carolina, was previously a partner with Womble Bond Dickinson.
"We have been seeking to grow our commercial real estate development presence in Atlanta and Charlotte in order to match the strength of our lending practices in those markets," said Joe Guay, leader of Holland & Knight's Real Estate Section. "Nellie will contribute tremendously to these goals and help build Holland & Knight's reputation as a full-service real estate firm in the Southeast."
Ms. Sullivan has deep experience with developer projects, including housing (single-family and multifamily), mixed-use, assisted living, office parks, industrial parks and malls. She also advises real estate investors on their acquisitions and dispositions.

Ms. Sullivan earned a J.D. degree from The University of Texas School of Law and a B.S. degree from Yale College. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute's Atlanta District Council and was a founding member of its Triangle District Council. She is also an active member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Atlanta.
