Holland & Knight's Vivian de las Cuevas-Diaz Named Real Estate Lawyer of the Year at Euromoney Women in Business Law Awards

MIAMI (June 16, 2023) – Vivian de las Cuevas-Diaz, a partner in in Holland & Knight's Miami office, was named Real Estate Lawyer of the Year by Euromoney Legal Media Group at its Women in Business Law (WiBL) 2023 Americas Awards ceremony on June 8. These awards recognize complex and innovative firm initiatives that promote women in law and the leading women practitioners from more than 30 practice areas.

Ms. de las Cuevas-Diaz serves as the deputy section leader of Holland & Knight's Real Estate Section, which is one of the largest real estate departments of any law firm in the United States. She represents developers in a range of projects, including multifamily housing, industrial projects, hospitality, retail, residential development and office buildings. She also handles the financing for these types of developments. Her practice is supplemented by her bilingual and multicultural team that facilitates her U.S.-based and international clients' needs in their U.S.-bound projects.

Additionally, Holland & Knight Partner Audrey Sung was shortlisted as a finalist for the Structured Finance Lawyer of the Year award, Partner Lee Meyercord was a finalist for the Tax Rising Star award and Partner Shari Levitan was a finalist for the Wealth Management Lawyer of the Year award, which she won in 2021.

Winners of the WiBL Americas Awards were selected based on research by the Euromoney Legal Media Group staff, which includes interviews with leading female practitioners across multiple areas of the law and feedback from clients throughout the region.
