William R. Bloom

William R. Bloom is an attorney in Holland & Knight’s Miami office. Mr. Bloom practices in the areas of commercial real estate, banking, loan recovery, construction and construction contracts, commercial lending, title insurance and public-private joint ventures, public-private partnerships and joint ventures. He represents public corporations, institutional investors, global and regional financial institutions, privately held entities and governmental entities involving a variety of business issues. He also focuses on joint venture negotiations for these transactions.

Examples of Mr. Bloom's experience include:

• representation of a cruise line in connection with a public-private partnership for the development of a mega terminal project at PortMiami pursuant to a long-term terminal lease agreement
• represented developer in connection with negotiation of a development lease with Miami-Dade County and the development of an industrial distribution facility of more than 1 million square feet at Opa Locka Executive Airport
• representation of the developer of the American Airlines Arena in all aspects of the public-private project, including handling all development agreements and construction contracts
• representation of developers in mixed-use development consisting of office, retail, hotel and residential components
• representation of developer in connection with the acquisition and conversion of more than 2,000 condominium units
• representation of the City of Miami Community Redevelopment Agency for more than 20 years in connection with all real estate transactions
• representation of lenders in connection with loan restructures, deed-in-lieu transactions and bankruptcy sales free and clear of liens
