Overview

Shannon Cahill is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Newport Beach office and a member of the Labor, Employment and Benefits Group.

Ms. Cahill focuses her practice on representing employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, and wage and hour matters. Additionally, Ms. Cahill regularly counsels and advises employers on a wide range of issues, including wage and hour compliance, employee classification and drafting of workplace policies and procedures. She also frequently assists with labor and employment due diligence to understand employment-related risk and exposure in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Cahill was an attorney at the Irvine, California, office of a national employment law firm.

While in law school, Ms. Cahill served as a law clerk for a regional civil defense firm, where she represented private and public entities in all stages of litigation. She also served as a clerk for the Employment and Administrative Mandate (EAM) Section of California's Office of the Attorney General.
