Overview

Daniela de la Rosa is an environmental attorney in Holland & Knight's San Francisco office. Ms. de la Rosa is a member of the West Coast Land Use and Environmental Group and focuses her practice on environmental law.

Ms. de la Rosa's career began in Colombia as an environmental associate at one of Colombia's top law firms, where over the course of four years she developed in-depth experience in environmental litigation, representing clients in administrative, civil and constitutional matters. In addition to her litigation experience, and advising clients on regulatory and legal compliance, Ms. de la Rosa has significant transactional experience, having conducted environmental due diligence for major projects, and has provided consultancy services to the Colombian government on environmental policies and regulations. Her experience includes working with clients across a wide range of sectors, including energy, mining and extractive industries, manufacturing, food and agriculture, waste management and transportation.

In addition, Ms. de la Rosa is a published author and co-author with more than 10 peer-reviewed academic publications in Colombia and in the U.S., on a range of topics in environmental law. Her work includes articles on climate litigation, sustainable development, environmental justice and environmental liability, among others.

While earning her LL.M. degree at Stanford, Ms. de la Rosa served a research assistantship on global ice preservation and participated as a member editor for the Stanford Journal of International Law and the Stanford Journal of Civil Rights & Civil Liberties.

Not yet admitted to California Bar; admitted to Colombia Bar only and practicing under supervision of lawyers licensed to practice in California.
